Everything seems so pointless
Why are there so many homeless?
Cold creatures in the night with no shelter against the storms
Why can't we all just be fed and warm?
Illegal some places to feed that ones who need
While the CEO's bellies get bigger and their wallet gets fatter
All at the expense of slavery
Tell me why we gotta buy into this system of oppression?
Why do we bow down to the all mighty dollar?
There is another way to survive
To live off the land and thrive as a community
Not bitter ignorant people huddled inside of our screens
Please look up and see the hurting
Share what you can with the needy
Cause you could just as easily end up the beggar
And we might all have something to teach each other
So don't be afraid to speak to the person on the street corner
We were all born equal in this world just the greedy racist system made us segregated
Only giving prizes to those regulating
Let's plant some seeds in the soil and rise up against turmoil
Clothe the cold and be bold against the old ways
Into a new organization of hope and love
Passionate and radiant we will become the benevolence the world needs
Break these chains and be free
